The Wishing Well, Didsbury
What we did
ME comms worked with The Wishing Well team on a wider marketing strategy focusing particularly on PR and social media with the aim of positioning the country pub as the hub of the community creating core buzz words to describe the venue. This was done via engagement with locals across social media, an event schedule which provided a place for locals to meet and enjoy ‘classic’ pub games with a host of prizes as well as community engagement with those projects that are close to Didsbury locals hearts. As The Wishing Well was one of Didsbury’s newest venues it was important to ensure it was at the forefront of people’s minds as a place to meet and socialise and act as a hub within the community. Our social media strategy put the human approach behind this, profiled familiar faces within the venue and engaged with ‘locals’.
